Frequently Asked Question

If you are getting this error message when launching CoventorWare 10, follow  the instructions below.

First open up File Explorer

To open File Explorer go to the search box and search for File Explorer

Next Right Click on This PC and click on Properties

Now click on Advance system (Highlighted Yellow in the above photo) settings to get to System Properties

Next click on Environment Variables (Highlighted Yellow in the above photo) to edit the TEMP and TMP path

Now Click on TEMP then Edit the path to C:\temp and Edit the path for TMP to C:\temp (THE PATH LOCATION IS CAP SENSATIVE)

In the picture below is how it is suppose to look like after you Edit the TEMP and TMP path

Now click Ok to close out all the windows.

When you launch CoventorWare it would prompt you with this User Setting. 

Change the Coverntor License to what is shown above (Highlighted Yellow).

Now test CoventorWare and see if the issue reappears, if you still get the error message please submit a ticket to OST.sdsu.edu
